Restoration Project

Zug ZR1.
Saving A Legend.

A Cyber Gray C6 ZR1 foundation rescued from the edge and given a second chance through restoration, preservation, hard-to-find parts, and a lot of garage determination.

The Foundation

2009 Corvette ZR1 Restoration

The Zug ZR1 started as a rare Corvette foundation with a story already baked into the metal. It is not a clean showroom car, and it is not being treated like a throwaway project.

The goal is to restore the Zug ZR1 to the best condition possible while preserving what makes it special. This is about bringing back one of Chevrolet's most serious performance cars, not turning it into something it was never meant to be.

The Car

A 2009 C6 ZR1 platform with the bones of one of GM's most aggressive factory performance cars.

The Mission

Restore what can be restored, replace what cannot be saved, and document every step of bringing the car back properly.

The Standard

No fake perfection. No rushed TV-build nonsense. Just the real work of saving a rare Corvette the right way.

Why This One Matters

The ZR1 Is Not Just Another Corvette

The C6 ZR1 was the halo car of its era: carbon fiber, supercharged power, widebody presence, and a reputation that still hits hard.

This build is about taking a damaged foundation and giving it the attention it deserves. That means parts hunting, careful repair work, restoration decisions, setbacks, surprises, and wins.

Some projects are about creating something new. This one is about preserving something important.
